Timo Schnepf

Hello! My name ist Timo and I work as a research associate at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) in Bonn, Germany. I graduated with a Master of Science in Sociology and Social Research at the University Cologne.

I’m an applied social scientist interested in data analysis, computational methods, causal inference and data visualisation. I’m a PhD candidate at TU Braunschweig where I study perceptions about occupational inequality.

At BIBB, I developed the data portal Occupations and Skills Radar. Currently, my team works on expanding this project with deepening analysis of skills and interoperability with international classification systems such as ESCO and ISCO.
